Our TeleMedicine program gives you 24/7 access to a network of US-based, board-certified physicians. This can be done by means of a mobile app, the web, or using a telephone. All MCS members have unlimited access to this service. No copay is needed. Please note, however, that pain medications classified as ‘controlled substances’ are usually not available by means of a phone consultation.

The ROC Program is one of Medical Cost Sharing’s most unique features and a concept unheard of in the healthcare industry. It works in the following way: If a member contributes for a period of ten continuous years without filing any claims, 100% of their contribution is refunded. But how does this work? Let’s take a look at two scenarios.
You, as a member, contribute $362 per month for ten continuous years. After the ten-year period, your total contribution adds up to $43, 440.00. During this period, you only used the funds for a minor knee surgery that cost $8,000.00. Your refund works out to $35,440.00.
Here your monthly contribution, for both you and your spouse, is $565.00 per month, also for a period of ten continuous years. During this time, you need open heart surgery. The procedure costs $200,000.00 which we pay in full. In this case, you would have no refund, but your claim is fully paid.

How Vanishing Personal Responsibility Works
MCS members pay a monthly payment. With regular health insurance, this is referred to as a ‘monthly premium’. As we are not an insurance company, the correct way of referring to this payment is a ‘monthly contribution’. All health care plans expect members to make a certain contribution before they start paying your medical claims. In the case of health care insurance, you would need to pay this amount before your health care benefits are covered. This is referred to as a deductible. In the case of a medical cost-sharing organization, this is referred to as a ‘personal responsibility’.
For every continuous year you are an MCS member, your personal responsibility is reduced by $100. This reduction includes all our offered plans, for each year you are a member. It also includes every paid family member. This continues until your personal responsibility reaches zero.
How Your Healthcare Costs Are Reduced With VPR
If your personal responsibility is $1000, it would be $500 after five years. The tenth year would see you zero out. In other words, you would no longer have a personal responsibility. All payments are allocated towards your healthcare expenses.
